Welcome Hootie to Toon

In February 2025, Hootie the Owl from the USA took flight and ventured into the heart of the North East, landing in a vacant building at 18-20 Bigg Market in Newcastle… and just like that, Hooters Newcastle was born.

Back in 1983 in Clearwater Florida,

6 businessmen with no restaurant experience whatsoever got together to open a place they couldn’t get kicked out of, True story.

Now it’s time to welcome Hooters to

We Started a Legend.

We’ve been perfecting them ever since.

Hooters has more styles of wings and more craveable flavors than pretty much anyone, but we still sling up thousands of our classic Original Wings every day.

What’ll we come up with next? There’s no telling.
